Cole's Perfect Puppy by Frances M. Crossno is a Christian novel for young readers ages six to twelve.  I gave it four stars.  It teaches lessons about love, friendship & sacrifice.

Cole wanted a puppy.  For Christmas his Uncle bought him a potbellied pig.  He went to work at a mall store to earn money to get his puppy.  He then used his money to get a kitten for Rachel, a friend who's father had been killed in military service.  He gave the pig to his brother Caleb.

I received a complimentary kindle copy from First Edition Design Publishing & NetGalley. That did not change my opinion for this review.
