A Pain in the Tuchis, A Mrs. Kaplan Mystery by Mark Reutlinger

A Pain in the Tuchis: A Mrs. Kaplan Mystery - Mark Reutlinger

A Pain in the Tuchis, A Mrs. Kaplan Mystery by Mark Reutlinger is a well written book.  I gave it five stars.

I was pleased to discover that there was an explanation for almost all of the Yiddish terms used in this story.  What a delight to read it without needing to search for or guess the meanings.

Ida Berkowitz & Rose Kaplan are residents of the Julius and Rebecca Cohen Home for Jewish Seniors.  Another pleasant surprise, their place of residence was named only twice. They are a fun team of lady detectives off on another grand adventure.

"I should have suspected all was not quite kosher with Vera Gold's death when one of the men carrying her body accidentally slipped at the front door & almost spilled poor Vera onto the ground.  This was not a good omen."

I received a complimentary copy from Random House Publishing Group-Alibi & NetGalley. That did not change my opinion for this review.
