"oo-oo-oo-aa-aa-aa-ooo-ooo-ooo-MOOOOOOOOOO!!" I received a free kindle copy of The Monkey Who Mooed by Ollie Richards (Author), Rhiannon Russell (Illustrator): A children's book for ages 3 - 6 (Fun children's story books. Children's books vol 1.) from Amazon for fair review. Cute child's book. The illustrations look as if a child drew them. I gave it almost four stars.There was a lot of opportunity for repetition of 'a mountain somewhere in India'. Also the attempts of Nigel, the monkey who mooed tried to sound like his five sisters & four brothers.
At first all his brothers & sisters laughed at him but after he helped the farmer round up his cows & he was able to claim bananas for the whole family, then they also wanted to be able to moo.
When I read this to my favorite little boy, at first he thought this was a little silly but after several repetitions of "oo-oo-oo-aa-aa-aa-ooo-ooo-ooo-MOOOOOOOOOO!!" he really enjoyed it.
