I received a free kindle copy of Nightcat (Kitty Castle Christmas Book 1) by Celesta Thiessen and Keziah Thiessen in an Amazon promotion in exchange for a fair review. I gave it four stars.

This is a charming Christmas story written for ages 6 to 11. It's about naughty elves offering Nightcat the position of being a king. He would have to leave behind the children but would be able to give them gifts that he couldn't give them otherwise. He had one night to decide. After listening to the elves songs he made up his mind.

Which choice would he make? What Christmas presents did the children want? What Christmas presents would they receive? Would the real meaning of Christmas be revealed?
