I received a free .pdf copy of Where did your heart go? (The Heart Trilogy Book 1) by Audrina Lane from the author for fair review. I gave it four stars.

Present day lives of Stephanie & her daughter Charlotte are interspersed with the past via the reading of Stephanie's diaries & viewing letters or photographs. It's an interesting device but can be a little difficult to follow.

Stephanie has loved James forever but he ended it. She was broken hearted. Can a broken heart heal?

The music listed brought back many fond memories for her & for James as well. They had their ow songs to associate with different events. Also their movie was Top Gun. Great list of songs mentioned at end of book. I enjoyed playing some of them as they were mentioned on my Youtube account in the background.

This was a well written book. It did not receive five stars because of the length. I found myself feeling impatient when another sex scene showed up. At least one third of the 575 pages could have been edited out.
