How Jerry Giraffe Got His Spots by Camelia Gherib is a cleverly written and illustrated book for children ages six to ten. I gave it four stars.
"Poor Jerry. He tried everything he could think of, but nothing gave him the beautiful spots or stripes on his skin that he wanted so much." Some of the things he tried made him act in odd ways and the other animals laughed at his antics.
It also has a link for a free bonus coloring book.
