Comfortable Graves by Roy LeBlanc is a mystery that touches on political corruption and racial hatred. It was compelling reading. The characters are well drawn and will be long remembered. I gave it four stars.

"Identifying the ideal ending in hindsight was easy. Getting to it, however, was nearly impossible. Even with the best intentions, things always got screwed up along the way."
