The Regrets of Cyrus Dodd: The Wyattsville Series (Wyattsville #4) by Bette Lee Crosby is a poignant story of a man's life & how he learned to live with regrets.
I gave it five stars. The Dodd family will live in my memory for a long time. I felt as if I were with them as they encountered life changing events. The characters were well written. This author has a special talent for making them come alive on the page.
"Ruth gave me a reason to put one foot in front of the other & move forward into an uncertain future. When I could no longer see the road before me she trusted in me, & that trust forced me to stand taller....I have come to realize the things I once counted as regrets were indeed blessings that I was too blind to see."
I received a complimentary e-copy from Bent Pine Publishing & NetGalley. That did not change my opinion for this review.
