I received a free kindle copy of Spirit Board, A Flash Fiction Story by Chuck Grossart in an Amazon promotion.

I gave this very short story four stars. The cover for this story was chosen well.

Cassie Mattis was a curious young woman. "Once a subject captured Cassie's fancy, there was no denying her quest for information, her desire to learn, & to experience first-hand." Since I'm an avid reader & a perpetual student, this description resonated with me.

Fortunately, I don't have the same interests she did that brought an unexpected conclusion to her search for knowledge.
