Death Comes For The Fat Man

Death Comes For The Fat Man - Reginald Hill This was a puzzling book to me.

I think it was because it examined in depth, the interior life of the two main characters. It wasn't always clear whether they were dreaming or experiencing in real life.

The will to live is explored. Events observed while the Inspector is in a coma are valid & portrayed accurately. I know, I've been there. It takes a LOT to be called back to a body wracked with pain.

It was an almost four star read.
